Full Deck Version Coming
Ever since releasing THIRST and I've wanted to produce physical copies of the games. I even had about 600 copies each of the business card-sized versions printed up at a local shop before realizing shipping them out from Japan was going to be cost prohibitive. Oh well. I've since made Euro Poker sized versions (63mm x 88mm – the same size as a M:tG card) with the idea of printing them through DriveThruCards. But again, it turns out producing a single card is pretty unattractive price-wise, especially when you factor in shipping.
So, I'm going to make full 52-card deck versions of the games. Cards with the instruction will replace the Jokers, as you remove those when playing. (Though if I made the backs of all 52 cards identical, the rule cards could function as Jokers...) I also have the option of making custom tuck boxes for the games that way, which really appeals to me.
I think a full deck of 52 cards priced at around $12 to $15 sounds a lot more appealing than a single card for $3. I'm going to try and have those all done and ready to go by the end of the summer.
